Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

I collaborate with The Lotus Collaborative to provide outpatient therapy alongside a higher level of care when clinically appropriate, supporting continuity of care and individualized treatment goals through coordinated treatment.

Eating Disorders

Who is Eating Disorder therapy For?

I provide compassionate, individualized support for teens and adults of all genders and identities who are navigating challenges with food, eating behaviors, and body image. I work with individuals experiencing:

  • Anorexia Nervosa, including atypical anorexia and other forms of restrictive eating

  • Binge Eating Disorder (BED)

  • Bulimia Nervosa and other purging behaviors

  • Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)

  • Compulsive exercise and difficulties finding balance with movement

  • Complex or overlapping eating disorder symptoms

  • Orthorexia

  • Co-occurring mood and trauma

You don’t need a formal diagnosis or to meet specific criteria to seek support. If your relationship with food or your body is causing distress, your experiences are valid, and you deserve care.

My goal is to meet you where you are and work collaboratively with you toward a more peaceful, compassionate relationship with food and your body.

My approach to eating disorder therapy is rooted in weight-inclusive care and informed by the principles of Health at Every Size (HAES).

Therapeutic modalities I often lean on while working with clients:

  • Internal Family Systems

  • Relational Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Somatic Experiencing Therapy

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy

  • Expressive Art/ Movement

Treatment Program Referrals

Higher Level of Care Support:

Offering a trusted network of eating disorder professionals including therapists, dietitians, psychiatrists, and other specialists. If additional support is needed, I can help connect clients with the right providers and navigate referrals to higher levels of care, including specialized treatment programs and hospitals.

Trauma and Mood

Trauma therapy may be helpful if you

  • Have experienced trauma, including sexual, relational, developmental, or systemic trauma

  • Experience symptoms of PTSD or complex PTSD (C-PTSD), such as flashbacks, hypervigilance, dissociation, nightmares, intrusive thoughts, or persistent shame

  • Are navigating grief, betrayal, significant loss, or major life transitions

  • Struggle to feel safe in your body, relationships, or everyday life

  • Find yourself repeating unhealthy relationship patterns, even when you recognize the warning signs

  • Experience trauma responses, such as fight, flight, or freeze, alongside an eating disorder or OCD

You do not need to have a specific diagnosis or know exactly where to begin to benefit from trauma-informed support

I support clients in understanding their moods, navigating emotional challenge with compassion and curiosity.

  • Anxiety / Depression

  • Grief

  • LGBTQ+

  • Peer Relationships

  • Personality Disorders

  • Relationship Issues

  • Stress

~ Though this is not an exhaustive list.

Family and Couples Support

I offer family and couples counseling to help strengthen communication, navigate challenges, and foster greater understanding and connection. Whether you’re supporting a loved one through recovery or working through relationship difficulties together, I strive to create a space where everyone feels heard, supported, and understood.
